Preston women's leggings - sewing tutorial
BEFORE SEWING
The leggings can be sewn in cotton (jersey or light-weight t-shirt fabric) or biflex.
I would also recommend using a fabric that has at least a 5% Lycra content to assure that the stretch and recovery is good enough.
We recommend to use JERSEY or STRETCH needle for your sewing machine.
Use Double Needle to finish a hem.
In case you don’t have serger you can use any stretching stitch on your sewing machine: Zigzag or special stretch stitch.
FABRIC CONSUMPTION
For sewing leggings, you will need 1.25 m (49,2″) of fabric for all sizes, elastic in a waistband 3 cm (1,2″) wide.
LEGGINS MEASUREMENTS
Leggings length of the side seam is 102 cm (40,2″) for all sizes.
Attention! All our patterns already contain 1 cm / 0.39 in seam allowances.
